When the Soul awakens to the needs of humanity, service becomes a natural expression of love.

There comes a time upon the spiritual path when the search for personal illumination gives way to the recognition of a greater responsibility. The light discovered within is no longer sought for oneself alone, but becomes an instrument through which goodwill, understanding, and intelligent cooperation may enter the world.

Shasta Trinity Ashram offers this invitation to all who sense the call to participate in the greater Work. Through meditation, group alignment, contemplative study, and practical service, each individual may discover how their particular capacities contribute to the unfolding purpose of the One Life.

As this call is recognized and embraced, the emphasis gradually shifts from individual aspiration to conscious group responsibility. Each act of goodwill, each moment of harmlessness, and each effort toward right human relations becomes a contribution to the greater spiritual work. Through the cultivation of love, wisdom, and intelligent activity, the Soul learns to serve without attachment to recognition or reward. In this spirit of cooperation, the individual becomes a willing instrument through which the light of the Soul may find practical expression, strengthening the bonds of unity and helping to reveal the spiritual possibilities awaiting humanity.
